These are sound recordings made at Scout Island, a small urban forest in New Orleans City Park, during my morning visits in 2026. You will hear brown thrashers, chickadees, warblers, frogs, crickets, and the ever present crows — the particular quiet of one specific place across one specific year. New recordings will be added through September 2026, so please check back.

These recordings will be played during the opening and closing of my show Scout Island Symbiotic at NOLA ‘Nacular gallery, September 2026.
